Peach BBQ sauce is a nice a twist of the classic sauce with bold flavors but also some sweet and fruity notes. It goes great with chicken, pork, and seafood!
Preheat the ingredients before starting to cook. Peel, pit, and chop the peaches. Dice onion, smash and mince the garlic, and grate the ginger. Measure out the rest of the ingredients.
Preheat a medium sauce pot over medium heat and add oil. Add onion and peaches and saute for a few minutes, until softened.
Make a little well in the center and add in garlic and ginger. Saute just until fragrant and mix.
Mix in remaining ingredients and bring to simmer.
Once the sauce starts to simmer, lower the heat to low, cover, and cook about 30 minutes. Make sure to stir from time to time.
Take the lid off, stir, and let the sauce gently simmer for about 15 more minutes and take off heat.
