Simple but tasty, Smoked Roasted Garlic may just be one of BBQ's most versatile foods! The perfect compliment to any food, 2 ingredients and a few simple steps help you take your BBQ to the next level.
Prepare your smoker as needed and preheat it to the temperature of 225°. For this dish we’ll be using Hickory wood.
Keeping the bulb intact, clear the outer layers of the skin off.
Slice off the tips of each clove. Cut about 1/4 of an inch off.
Place each bulb into it's own square of foil with the trimmed part up.
Drizzle about a teaspoon of olive oil onto each bulb and wrap them all tightly with the foil.
Place the wrapped garlic bulbs into a skillet or other grill/smoker safe container and slide those babies into your smoker.
Smoke the garlic for about 3 hours at 225°.
After 3 hours, take your garlic out of the smoker.
Let the bulbs cool down before using.
