Instructions
Prepare the grill:
Preheat the grill to medium heat for about 10-15 minutes and make sure the grill grate is completely clean. (If using a grill after already cooking on it, make sure to scrub the grill grate well.)
Optional: For charcoal grill, throw on some light and fruity wood chunks if you want some extra smoke flavor. (For a gas grill, use a smoker box to put wood chips into.)
Open the peaches:
Use a knife to cut around the peach, along the seam, to the pit. Use a firm twisting motion to release one half off the pit and then pull the pit out of the other half.
Prepare the peaches:
Use a brush to lightly brush each cut side of the peach half to grease it.
Grilling:
Place greased peach halves on the grill cut side down and let them cook for 3-4 minutes. While peaches are cooking, carefully brush the skin side with some oil and then flip when ready. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Take the peaches off the grill and top them off with ice cream or your favorite toppings!
