This pork chop marinade is the best for flavorful, juicy, caramelized pork chops. It’s an easy marinade but it will infuse the meat with so much flavor, whether you marinate it for 2 hours or overnight.
Combine all the ingredients in a large zip-top bag and mix them well. Add pork chops and make sure to spread them evenly.
Get all the air out and seal the bag. Place the bag with pork on the plate and into the refrigerator. Let it marinade for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Grilling pork chops:
Pull the pork out of the refrigerator about 30-45 minutes before cooking. This will give you time to set up the grill, clean it, and get it preheated.
Insert a leave-in meat thermometer into one of the pork chops, through the side and towards the center.
Place pork chops onto the hot side of the grill, over direct heat. Close the lid and let them cook for about 2 minutes, until release from the grill easily, and then turn them to make criss-cross grill marks. Close the lid and cook for another couple of minutes and flip them over. Repeat the same thing on that side.
If you notice that pork chops are searing too fast, move them over to the cooler side of the grill to finish cooking.
Cook pork chops until the internal temperature gets to 145°. Take them off the grill and rest for about 5 minutes before cutting.
